6th Grade Pop Quiz

Last Friday, Sixth Grade had a pop quiz and performed very well. I have decided to give them 4 more questions and average the two grade together to count for a test grade. These are very open-ended questions that we went over in class, just before I gave them this portion of the quiz. I will be giving partial credit for answers. The questions are posted below.

1. 1. Explain why the Greek's named this region "Mesopotamia" and why it is referred to as the "Fertile Crescent."
2. 2. Compare the purpose of the Ten Commandments to the purpose of Hammurabi's Code.
3. 3. Compare ancient Judaism to the religions of other peoples in the region.
4. 4. Explain why we studied the Bible in social studies class.
