- Compare your thought to the President's message. Were they the same? Were they different? How
- Explain how someone in your life is an example of personal responsibility. What qualities make them successful?
- Describe your own personal goals. Is anything standing in the way of meeting those goals?
- Recall if President Obama mentioned any of these struggles. Do you think anyone else is facing those same struggles?
- What can you do to overcome these obstacles and reach your goals? Remember, personal responsibility and persistence are important.
